Posted Jul 8, '12 at 2:44am Carnage1995 86 posts	Can anyone recommend any books to get? I've been looking and some are quite old. For example, I saw this book for CS3, but the latest one is CS5...I don't have CS3. I don't have CS5 either, that was just an example. Anyways. Something easy. Game Maker, Python, something like that. Maybe even Java, but not C++.

Posted Jul 9, '12 at 4:27pm manny6574 861 posts	latest one is CS6 Also, the programming language in all of them in the same ActionScript 3.0, the only differences are that there's been some things added in newer versions, but if you're just learning now, you won't need to know at all. So go ahead and use the CS3 ones. They're not really out of date
