I'm creating a game but I need a character i decided a stickman but i need help with animating a walk cycle anyone know where i can find some help on that.

Isn't that unwise to do? If he is going to publish it won't he be sued by the person/company who he borrowed it from?

Animation and characters are my biggest problem personally. I can code just fine, but when it comes to building good-looking characters and enemies, much less animating them, I tend to fail miserably.

@Amarantamin That's why people only do one and where the term "Programmer art" came from. No point honing multiple skills since it won't result in you being especially good at a single one of them and thus just mediocre in all of them.

For the OP go find a youtube video that breaks apart how walking animation works and the basic idea about in making one.
