@ steevo15: You can use the Link button on the form. But all it does is surrounds the address (complete with http:// prefix) with [url] and [/url] (no spaces).

Whoops, I thought it wouldn't convert if I didn't insert a link.

Place this on the end: [/url]
Place this at the start: [url]
Place the full URL of the link in the middle, no spaces whatsoever.

@jwalshr, how do you attach a link to a word like you did up there?
