When you first sign up, you'll be asked a question. *i think, i remember it like this* it'll say
Referral:
You have to type the username of the person who told you about this website. So, if you wanna get it, invite your friends to this website, and tell them to put YOUR name as their referral.
A merit
You get one when you post a very detailed comment and it has to be helpful. Moderators go around and read the comments. If they think you deserve a merit, they'll give you one!
