I am interested in learning how to Program my own games, what should I do to get started and what are the basics that I should start with?

I recommend starting with Gamemaker Lite. It's free and it gives the bare instructions on how to make games. It's really simple, and it comes with a bunch of tutorials. YouTube videos help a lot if you're stuck.

Thank you Salvidian! I will look into it really soon. At the moment im learning c++.
