Stopped playing at the sixth one. Strike heroes or whatever was too cartoony for me. You had the characters going super saiyan, missions seemed lone wolf based, and other stuff.

Yeah I try to stay away from all the extra stuff (though I might play the empires one, but after getting into Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8, it feels very obsolete even though it is newer). They always try to add extra crap that just makes it feel silly (Makin em Gundam?! Really?!)
As for the game being old and easy, I agree with Matrix. And it's not really old, saying that they just released another one like about a year ago or so
Also, I think they need to bring in some more people that have read the book and/or studied the time period a bit more (*coughpangtongshuwouldbeagreatpersonforthatcough*). They add Guan Suo, who was basically helpful in just the Southern Nanman campaigns...but not Cheng Pu, who was one of the predominant leaders of Wu
yea i played them all from DW2 on. except for the extra/special editions. they are usually crap. the samurai warriors series is also prety good. but now i only play the warriors orochi serie. basically DW and SW together whit even some more guys. (over 100 playable characters) a friend of my is playing DWnline. it's based in DW5. so the old clothes and weapons.
well dude, i must admit, that games old and too easy. soul calibur is better.
old - no easy - no (well if you want to yes. but thats your own doing.) soul caliber - ... it's not even close to DW. xD
