maybe some explaining on the topic in the OP?
or a example.
what about your own opinion first?
don't just assume everyone knows what it is.

anyway, lets see.

Zoro - great serie, they should bring it back on telly.
astria - is a european privet space company.
nism - it usualy isn't good if it ends whit that.

Here's the wiki on it. That's about as much as I know on this particular religion. I think thisisanalt claimed to follow zoroastrianism so maybe if he pops in he can explain more.

Zoroatrianism is a very interesting religion. its not a paganic religion, but a dualist one. there are two gods by this religion.
so when Islam get to persia, they didnt treat them like paganism.
as i understood, it was mainly a State religion, not of the sinmple man.
It also saw fire as a holy element, like jewdisem and christianity and Islam see water.

{anyone who played rome total war - barbarian invasion whould rememmber this religion :)}

Fun fact:

the Creator Ahura Mazda

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f9/Faravahar-Gold.svg

A redesigned symbol was introduced in 1997. It's a stylized, winged "M" meant to show Mazda stretching its wings for the future. The wings are also symbolic of the Zoroastrian - Mazda - Guardian Angel.

Thanks for the wiki article by the way. Reading it, I must say on point I find appealing is the principle of active participation and rejection of monasticism. But the apocalypse is too similar to the christian version, or should I say it the other way round; it got copied too evidently by christianity.
