I bought many toys for my computers over the years and I don't include the computers (9) and laptops (3).

I made a list of my favorite ones.

1- ADVC 100 by Canopus

I bought it to digitize my VHS movies to DVD.
The version I have was purchased on the Internet and it has a button to disable the Macrovison (crap used to prevent making copies). I even used to record movies or shows from Hulu by connecting my two computers and recording on the 2nd one.
That was a great device. I still have the original box and accessories.

2- Fusion HDTV 3 QAM gold from Dvico

I used it to capture HD videos from cable over the air.
I had a great time with this toy!

3- ION Turntable

I bought it to digitize my vinyls via USB on my computer.
It comes with a free editing software to help remove scratches, pops, clicks and background noise.

4 - HD PVR by Hauppauge

Even better than my ADVC 100! It can record HDTV straight to my computer and the quality is amazing! My favorite toy so far!

5 - WD Live TV Hub

I can watch TV online, play games, watch my own videos, play my music, look at pictures, etc.

Just got my new speakers! I'll let them run with my internet radio for 8 or 10 hours to break them in.
I won't know before a week if I like the quality or not.

Wow, the Creative Gigaworks T-40 and the Behringer UCA 202 DAC together sound amazing!
I've been playing some music non-stop since I got them to break them in and tonight I went to play a Crush The Castle 2 Players Pack game and while listening to the intro music, I could actually hear more details! I like the music even more now!

Well I tried your suggestion SSTG. This is what I got.

I clicked on all the things I don't get any properties. But I think when I start up my computer there's a button that has it. I'll go try and find it.

Ok I found it.
Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Core 2 CPU 6600@2.40 GHz
2 GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE

I'm not sure if that's good or not...?

That depends, if you only play AG games you should get by with it.
Also if you remove all the useless animated things, blinking cursor, etc, your computer will be a little faster. More ram would be better though.
Think of RAM as the room where you work and the hard drive as the storage room. If your working area is 1 x 1 meter, you have a hard time moving around but if it's 10 x 10 meters, you have plenty of room to move and add furniture.

It also depends on how much free space you have on your computer. I used to use a laptop with a 3rd gen Intel Atom processor, 4GB of ram, and 2Gz. Now this sounds decent but there was only 40GB of free storage which made it run very slow. If you regularly play games on your PC, make sure that you have at least 120 gigs(possibly less) of free space.

I got me this for early Christmas.
CMTSBT100
to replace my beloved and now dead Phillips MC50 Micro Sysytem .

I'm breaking in the speakers right now so I don't have any comments about it except that it looks great.

Oops, I gave the wrong model, it was the MC70 .
I liked it so much except for the 3 cd changer (never cared for that feature) and the tape player (never used it).
Noticed that the Sony one has 1 CD only which I think will be more durable.
If I don't like the speakers I'll use my sig=AFQjCNFiZqGMyueIjyOHYgpX_x1Egt1Jcg&ust=1383692998342124">Mission 750Le instead.

Sorry, wrong model again (what's wrong with me!). They're so old that the sticker on the back has fallen off. It's the Mission 760i.

Okay, I connected my Mission 760i to my Sony CMTSBT100 CD player and after listening to 4 CDs I'm convinced I made a good choice!
The quality is great and since I'm good with audio editing, my compilations sound almost perfect, especially for that price!
