Are you a game maker? Need tips to help you out to make a succesful game? Well now i have created a list of what people want in games. It is a collection of common comments and certain popular games. Sonce im in the UGR(Ultimate Game Raters) Club ive rated and played plenty of games.

Tip#1: Do Not copy others ideas. It makes you a lame game creator and you'll get bad rating and comments. If you do want to copy a game, make sure it is 100% improved from the other one.

Tip#2: Save/Pause option. These options are very useful because you get to keep playing over a long period of time without starting over. It keeps people interested in your game longer.

Tip#3: SKIP! You should add a "skip" option if you have a story line. Some people don't care about the story line, or have already seen it. People dont like it when they have to wait for games.

Tip#4: Repitition. Repitition is when a long game or endless game has no variation. Variation makes the game more interesting, instead of pressing one button for the whole game or watching the same effect.

Tip#5: Modes. Modes help keep the games variation. There could be a timed mode, survival, etc.

Tip#6: Levels. There should be a levels in a game which get harder and harder, but fun also. You should also be abl to chose a level in addition to the "save" funtion.

Tip#7: Allies. Games with only you against a million aren't fun. Maybe 2 against a million. It makes it more fun also.

Tip#8: If it is some sort of battling game, you should be able to change your vehicle, or weapon, or have a store. Money or upgrades should come from how well you kill

Tip#9: HP and lives. If it is some sort of action, or battle game make an HP and Lives too so you don't just die outta nowhere and you have more chances. Include this with a save and pause options to make the game more fun and enjoyable.

Tip#10: Creativity. Make you loading screen creative. Make it colorful and not just a bar moving forward. Have maybe an animated backround. Fix up your menu also.

Tip#11: Music. Make your music creative and fun. Don't put music with word and put a simple rhythm so the somg gets stuck in their head. Make the music match the game.

Tip#12: NEVER GET DISCOURAGED! If you make a bad game at first, don't quit, make a different game with a different style. If a games good, you might wanna make a sequel for them to make ot more fun.

Well thats about it, i may be missing some stuff but here u go anyways!

Tip#13: Instuctions. Make your intstuctions very clear. No matter how obvious, put it there.

Tip#14: Options. Also don't forget an options menu. Your player may want to change quality because of the lag. It should include volume change, mute sounds and music, and change controls.
