I would say modern music is the best because the music back in the day was boring.

Well considering i'm growing up now...i'm gonna go with modern music. There's sooo much more to choose from nowadays, there's throw back sound bands like wolfmother as well as new crazy genres all the time...so yah def. modern times.

I am tied between 60s, 80s, and modern. The sixties because of rock, the eighties because of punk and electronic, and modern because of what people are so confused as to what the genre is they have to call everything that remotely sounds like alternative (Radiohead, Wombats, White Stripes, Metro Station, Queens of the Stone Age, etc.).
