the complete and utter lack of national pride.
pride is fine. but what i see mostly is that they become arrogant about it.
turning patriotism into nationalism and they are even noticing it.
but we as watchers of that show do notice.

I think that the thing about the U.S. that bothers me most is that, by and large, the population here just refuses to educate themselves on the important issues that are facing our country and the rest of the world. Most Americans get their news in sound bites of 2 minutes or less. I am constantly embarrassed by those "man on the street" interviews that air a lot here and in several countries in Europe where average people show their ignorance about our government and the important issues of the day.
You may guess that, since most of us are simply unaware as to what is going on here and abroad in the here and now, the average U.S. citizen is even MORE ignorant about history and its lessons.

Well in Vietnam obviously there is pollution >.<
But the kids here are not very well educated as they go into Vietnamese schools and they started swearing in kindergarten...
Plus the corruption here is insane!!

The British weather is terrible
We're a very violent nation
Everyone hates everyone
People seem to care more about celebrities and the X Factor than what's really going on.
People seem to think that everything will be handed to them on a plate.
We lack discipline

Here in Canada I would love to say how perfect our government is, but it is simply not true. The current Prime Minister is wasting our money on fighting wars in far away places instead of using it where it is needed. On top of that almost every week I'll hear about something new in the the Federal or Provincial government. For example this summer during the London 2012 Olympics the Alberta government spent $518 280 on a trip there. As bad as that is $113 000 of it was spent on UNUSED 5-star hotel rooms. It seams like you can never trust the government anymore.

stupid laws (forcing people to go against their religion)
15 trillion dollars in debt
two idiots running for president who will both get us more debt
a currency that is losing value fast
people avoiding work and just living off the government
Occupy movement people trying to get more money
people making big deals out of nothing (one cop got sued because he shot a man who was charging him with a knife)
Students who don't take schooling seriously, and then join the occupy movement when they aren't rich
Basically, stay out of the U.S.A.

And that, my friends, the "life sucks and everyone who try to change it sucks too" attitude. It help you change nothing, but hey, who want to change when you can call everyone stuiped?
