2023. Science went too far. The best scientists in the world came together under the common goal of making the perfect soldier. One that wouldn't feel pain, would never let feelings get in the way, and would never lose the will to fight. And they kind of succeeded. However, these new soldiers lost all sense, and only knew aggresion and survival. They killed every human they saw, and within a year after their drugs got out, the infection had spread all over the world, and nearly everyone was either dead or infected by 2025. Now you have only one goal in mind as one of the few remaining sane people on Earth: to survive.

Intelligence: (This affects how well you can use advanced equipment such as computers, security systems, and vehicles, and you are able to spot weaknesses and tactical opportunities better, along with gaining skill in lock-picking, hot-wiring, etc.)
Charisma: (This affects how well you can interact with other survivors. Raise it high enough and they might give you some free equipment and help, and will also become less likely to try and stab you in the back while you sleep.)
Accuracy: (This affects how well you can aim ranged and thrown weapons, and you are able to throw things farther and more precisely.)
Perception: (Affects how much you can see at a glance, you'll find more stuff when exploring/scavenging, and all you're senses are sharpened so you can sense survivors/zombies/equipment/etc. better.)
Luck: (Affects all stats slightly, zombies are less likely to detect you, you are more likely to scavenge better stuff, etc.)

Classes:
Scavenger: +4 Perception, +4 Stealth, +2 Strength. As a scavenger you will find more stuff while scavenging, and are able to move faster and more stealthily.
Hunter: +4 Accuracy, +4 Strength, +2 Charisma. Hunters are fully trained to track and kill zombies, they are the strongest of the classes and can many times be used to defend others and keep themselves from zombies.
Recon: +4 Stealth, +3 Perception, +3 Intelligence. Recons work best as scouts. They are able to find useful stuff and avoid zombies more easily than others, but aren't too strong in combat.
Sniper: +4 Accuracy, +3 Intelligence, +2 Strength, +1 Charisma. Snipers are the best gunners of all the classes, and are best with ranged weapons. They often times can be used to pick off zombies before they get too close, and are great at combat.
Commander: +4 Intelligence, +4 Charisma, +2 Perception. Commanders are the leaders of the survivors, they are most influential to others and are very good at using their environment for their own good.

I will respond again in 5 hours, and start a game with whoever has joined by then. After that, anyone else can join but they will not have the benefit of starting with other survivors.

You are able to find a straight metal pipe to satisfy your needs, and although bottles are plentiful, the gas station's gas dispensers are still in working condition and require money to work, which you do not have.

Empties the ammunition from both rifles, giving them a solid once over, checking the action (Lever please please please), selecting the smoother of the two and loading it with what cartridges she has, slinging the other crosswise over her right shoulder an d under her right arm, then unloading and working the slide on the automatic, dry firing it a few times before reloading it, then tucking it in the back of her pants, hefting the pipe and practice swinging the heavy thing a few times. She gathers what remains, securing it in pockets or on her person as best she can, tearing scraps of cloth from her perished saviors clothing, apologizing under her breath for the vandalism, tying them together and threading them through the pipe, then slipping it over her shoulder like the spare rifle, checking a few times to make sure it will pul loose with a solid tug. Angela thinks a moment about trying to tend the two fallen bodies, settling for a silent prayer instead, and thanking them, then retrieving the loaded weapon and heading off to explore the police station, giving the streets a quick scan before heading out.

You do so. It seems simple enough. Lots of computers and large monitors everywhere. Also lots of desks and tables. One thing that catches your attention, though, is a plain metal case near the far wall, under one of the desks. As you approach it, it seems about 7x3x3 feet in volume, and looks to have a combination lock on it, which requires 4 numbers. What do you do?

((Meh, there's never any maximum. I myself am an experienced roleplayer, so long responses are just a nice addition to games such as these ^^))

One of the rifles is a bolt action, the other lever action (Because I'm nice). You do all of the actions stated, and after everything seems in order you go across the street, towards the police station. You do not encounter any infected along the way, but as you get closer to the police station you can hear quite some scratching noises inside, but it seems there is not too much of a threat level within the building.

Peeks into the station as inconspicuously as possible, checking to see how secure the door is if it's relatively clear (3 zombies or less). If she can, she slips through the door an try to secure it behind me, tying it closed with my makeshift pipe sling or even wedging the pipe into it if it's a push mechanism that has room for that. Sh e then proceeds to deal with the zombies in a tight are, door way if possible, using the pipe to bash in their heads, or butt of the rifle to cave in their temples, not wanting to risk firing a shot, then proceeds to thoroughly search the lobby and watch officers desk, and any other areas openly visible, then moving into the enclosed offices, dealing with similar threats in a similar manner as prudent. Specifically looking for a gun belt and holster, flashlight, and some kind of bag to carry things. She'll spend extra time in the evidence locker as the main armory has been probably cleaned out, but the evidence room may have been overlooked. If there are too numerous threats in the lobby, moves on to the grocery store instead.

i get bored easily so i cut the doors down instead of opening doors. i charge in killing all zombies i can with my chainsaw and allow storm to search them. I do this to try and lure the zombies from higher floors out of there hiding to make them more visible to engage.

You do so. You're able to deal with the zombies (2) in the lobby with relative ease, and proceed to search the room after securing the door. Within the lobby you find some money, a few food items, and even a tazer gun. You then head to the offices. You clear out the first one to find some money and spare flashlight batteries, but not much else, so you move on. However, when you enter the second room you see an infected. But it's unlike the other common infected that you've seen: First off, it's short, maybe three to four feet hey, and has long hair covering its face, with red glowing eyes prominently showing. It stands in the middle of the room, and stares at you intently, unmoving. How do you respond?

(No. for the most part, electricity lines were destroyed during the apocalypse. However, some more community-important buildings do have potential back-up generators.)

You cannot open the chest by force, so you go and search through the different drawers, but don't find anything besides some money and a chocolate bar. You try to launch some computers, but they are all plugged in and are not able to do so. However, you do find a labtop next to the main monitor. It seems to be the surveillance chief's labtop, and as you power it on you find a few different prominent folders: "Rosters," "Notes, "Observations," and "Technical data."

Storm first manages to get into a room before you charge in, so you check the other two. You go to the first one, and slice the door open, finding an infected inside. But this one seems different. It looks mostly the same, but looks much more buff, and when you slice it it barely notices, lumbering towards you.

Steps back through the doorway slowly, attempting to pull it closed as she retreats. If it rushes the door, she'll pull the pistol and back up while firing slow and steady shots, making her way to the exit figuring the noise will draw more. If it doesn't attack, give that room a WIDE berth and keep searching, all be it quieter if possible.
