I don't play sports. To me, a sport must be a game, with rules and winners and losers. The activities I like and care about don't count based on that.
There is one sport I watch a bit, though. StarCraft 2, and occasionally StarCraft Broodwar. I almost like Broodwar more, but SC2 produces more material. StarCraft is an exciting game with loads of tension and excitement. I'm often on the edge of my seat, yelling at a progamer to micro, or biting my nails as I see a drop sneaking into the back, or holding my breath as workers slither to a hidden expansion just out of view of the enemy army.
Esports are sports. They're just as stupid and pointless as real sports.
