for example, how add a friend? in control panel on the "friends" is no button to add or search friend... did i miss something?

Arkadon, to add a friend, you need to go to the profile of the player you want to add then go to the top right and click on the green add friend button, and viola! That person is your friend. Hope this helps.

What I need help with is where do I go? Is there a search bar for finding people?

All you need to know is this thread

Note that to add someone is not mutual-based, its one-sided (the one who is friended must not affirm, there is no friend-request-system for this version of AG), so to make the thing a "real" friendship he have to add you too.
