This is an english site, so ask in english...

Beyond that, AP gives you a higher rank (serf, etc) and unlock new armatars (avatars called armatars on AG)

There has been talk of expanding the use of AP when the new AG3 launches, people even suggested to include being able to buy ArmorGames' products for it as a sort of currency, but this seems unlikely at best... ;)

i think its a great idea to use it as armorgames' product currency. this would encourage people to create accounts and participate in the armorgames' community

Well, even though ArmorGames is taking the social website route from here on out with the new AG3 website that's coming, it's still nothing like "Second Life" where it is actual currency, much like this would be here on AG then... ;)

It would have to be a LOT of points for something little, as they don't get very much money from you using AG, especially if you use AdBlock. Blue Elephant Plushies don't grow on trees, sadly enough.

Also, that doesn't really mean that people will actually see the forums... The store does have a page separate from the community, after all.

To answer the OP, yes, it is only for that and ranking up, but ranking up doesn't mean a thing. Although some users like to take AP way too seriously and spam spam out of a can for it. Really it doesn't mean much, especially since many of the early armatars are quite good too.
