You make it seem otherwise.

Because, you know, I haven't kept my views completely subjective or backed up what I was saying with multiple examples (and accessible links to said examples). [This is sarcasm...obviously]

Every single action they take has absolutely no lasting affect.

Please refer back to the 3 examples of them basically interfering in someone's life in major ways..as well as the example of them taking down 40+ child porn sites, including one of the largest known, with account details of its 1589 users being posted online as evidence. And they didn't just temporarily take down the sites, they completely took them down, while also gaining the account details of over 1,500 people.

Actually the link specifically calls it a 4chan raid.

Anonymous soon uncovered her personal information including phone number, address and her Twitter account.

Also, 4chan can be considered the "home of Anonymous", seeing how a majority of Anonymous members are strongly a part of 4chan. Also, when "4chan" attacks someone or something, that is not 4chan doing so...99 out of 100 times it is Anonymous doing so, but because of their strong affiliation with 4chan (and taking into account that Anonymous essentially started/grew in 4chan), 4chan is what usually gets the headline credit

Whether you like it or not, the core of the "old anonymous" is 4chan's btards who weren't some crusaders for justice, they just did things for fun.

Whether they did things for fun or did things for serious reasons (refer back to the "cat-abuser"), they were still a very serious threat. I will not deny that the core of Old Anonymous were /b/ros, for as a stated previously, that is basically their "home".

I just tire of what people turn it into.

I'd understand if your argument was that Anonymous isn't as powerful as given credit for because of, say, their lack of full uniformity...however your argument is basically that Anonymous isn't really powerful at all, but the fact is that Anonymous is powerful, very powerful.

Unless you know one thing about hacking or any programming

Something I noticed...while everyone (who is actively taking part in this) has their main point around Anonymous and their hacking abilities...my main focus is how they can ruin people's lives through their power -_-

To be honest, the hacking subject is a sketchy one to get into...while a large majority of the "hacking" is just simple DDoS or Doxing, it still takes some degree of "talent" to be able to do so...I've seen hackers of pretty decent caliber fail many times at doxing...it isn't the easiest thing in the world. However, the argument can still be made that all they are doing is doxing, and that that isn't legitimate hacking.

I believe anonymousis powerful, if someone can turn the Internet against you, you are screwed. Anon are just brutal, they don't forgive, and don't forget. And they are just Powerful if they work well.

Just remember, They aren't going to hack the nuclear base computer system and blow up the world. They are completely against that. Use the word "power" carefully.

You can be anonymous without being a member of Anonymous. I namef@g it up a bit on 4chan, but I adore the idea of anonymity and the power that comes with this open territory plane, the internet :D

There's a certain genius to being able to create your own destiny, whenever, however, with whomever.
