I hear that Stencyl is also very useful for making games, and even produce them in the very format that AG requires. I'm a little unsure if you can actually make them in as good quality as AG looks for, but it is a possibility.
I agree that Traitor is a fantastic game. I'd say the vast majority of Stencyl games are pretty terrible. If you want to make games I'd suggest learning to code or getting a programmer to code for you.
