It's almost that time of year again, but it seems like no one is here.
Anyone else taking this up?
The tavern creaked and moaned under the heavy feet that tread upon its ancient and withered floor.
Boards creaked as a small pair of feet shuffled across the oak floors, dust rising with each step.
First line. Lol sounds sort of similar to the line above.
So we are 2/3 of the way through November no and I'm curious as to who is actually doing this now, and if you are, how are you doing? I have been trying, but I am still behind with about 25,000 words.
I also am curious to find out the answer to Balloon's question...also..will you be posting a link to your story so we can read it?
After about 500 words on my first day, I gave up because I'm terrible at story writing.
Well, I sure as heck won't finish. I honestly can't get over the barrier of writing really poorly to meet word quotas. This'll probably be the last time I try. I will finish the story eventually and probably post it, but I'm not doing it for NaNo.
I'm ashamed to say I didn't meet the requirement. Out of 50K words written, I conjured 33,644 words, says Microsoft Word. I blame University.
I did not make it.......I thought finishing in a month would be a great idea, however, my schedule was not so keen on that plan of action. Oh well, I shall just have to continue on through December and try again next year.
