Well, I like quests. In my opinion, quests about the site usage, like "Post your 1st comment", or "Rate 100 games" and others would be great too.

Armor points, can't we just make only 1 comment per game per day to reduce spam? it would be helpful

I think the new system is not good, well, quest are fine with me, but when it comes to armatars, some of the old ones were really nice and it sucks not to have them. i used to change mine every week and i also spent a lot of time on AG. It doesn't feel right that we older players are stuck with the same armatars as newcomers. I believe it should be reintroduce back perhaps with some restrictions(like only 3 comments and like per day, > 3 will not be rewarded AP to prevent spam), it was a cool feature and not many gaming sites have a feature like that!
I also read recently about the armatar drawing contest, I think the worthy drawings can be added to the existing ranks depending on their likes and dislikes(like voting). There could be something like a voting month where the members will be asked to vote 5 pics daily(not everytime they log in), it wont take long and everyone will be happy

TerribleK - They are gradually moving armatars over. I'm pretty sure you can forget about the old AP system returning, it's not worth the trouble that it caused, and I don't believe we should be restricted to how many times we can post. A better idea would be to introduce quest points, that way you're actually rewarded for completing achievements. Instead of the previous system where anyone could spam and get a high amount of points.

I agree with Terrible K. I liked being able to unlock new armatars, and the AP system gave me an actual incentive to participate in the community.

I also think that the quests are currently rather pointless. They give me a bit of incentive to play a little further than I normally would in a game, but that's about it. Given the current selection of games that have quests (most of them I don't care for at all), I don't feel its worth it. Quest points might make it a bit more worth it, but I think it can only be implemented when the variety of quested games improves.

I actually like the icons used for some of the quest badges better than the armatars available to me. So here's an idea: When you complete a quest, why not make that badge available as an armatar? Personally, that would give me more incentive to get the badges that I normally wouldn't care to get.

There should be three categories on Quest page

All Quests
Not Completed Quests
Completed Quests

A few things to go over

First) when viewing the master quest list I would appreciate it if the quests that the user has done were more obviously marked when completed. That way when your looking down the list at what you haven't finished to find a quest to do that you can quickly note whats next. Just a simple "complete" or star icon on the bottom of the shield would be grand.

Second) I know I'm not the only one, but I'm an OCD completionist. There is few quests that will drive me up a wall and as long as they are not glitched and prevent me from getting them. I will continue to try and get them.

Finally) and this relates to the previous section. The "achievements" from the old site that no one can possibly get ever. These will be a thorn in my side. forever mocking me that I can't get them. Remove them from the "achievements" area as if they were something that you could get.

I've been playing on armor games for ages and finally made an account when online saves were added as a feature. I don't know if i qualify for any of those old site things, but i don't really care as long as they aren't called an "achievement".

@mark49:

Two things:

1) When quoting someone else's post, you should use the quote BB code. You can learn about BB code by reading this thread.

2) This thread has not been active, so you can't assume that admins aren't reading this thread.

The profile already does that, though I don't see a problem with doing that to the all quest page. I just think it would be redundant.

The problem is when you go on the quest page, you can't see quests you have finished.

That's what I was replying to, but I don't consider that a glitch, since you can see finished quests on your profile as well as the individual game pages.
