I really think that all quested games should have an online save option, otherwise if you're dealing with a constantly cleared cache  and/or accessing from multiple systems some of them are impossible.

In this post I'll try to describe you my new idea
This idea has a purpose to create a better gaming environment.

I believe that the Quest system needs a new component:
Iam presenting you Challenges.

On this screenshot you can see the current appearance of Quest page.

This page has been modified/MS paint ;)

Changes are shown in this screenshot.

Challenges can be divided into three groups:

-Gold Challenges with timer (hours:minutes:seconds 99:99:99)
-Silver Challenges with timer (hours:minutes:seconds 180:99:99)
and
-Wood Challenges with timer (hours:minutes:seconds 360:99:99)

I do not want to discuss the timer.
Timer can be set to any value.

Quests/Challenges to Challenges/Quests changes the order by click.

Appearance of shield by its correct status

Important:
The challenges do not have to be difficult,on the contrary
they can be well designed and tricky.
For example: Clucked Away quest for CTCA (Find and kill the hidden chicken.)
This could be a challenge,(for example golden challenge).
The point of this challenge is to make players to find their own
solution which would result satisfaction.
And after the challenge ends, solution may go out into public.

Perhaps many people will not like this, but also maybe
many people will like this.So we need to hear everyone's opinion.
This is just an idea ;)

Hmmm, I'm curious what you feel the difference between a challenge and a Quest may be? Is it that it's timed? We have some Quests that are currently timed.

No its not like that.

Challenge would have its own timer. And when the time is up, the challenge is over.
That is the difference.

It would be something like event.
opens on: some date/time
ends on: some date/time

During that time you will have to complete challenge in order to obtain challenge-shield.

Can anyone tell me why you can't see the description of Quests when your at the actual game page? I find the whole Quest setup so confusing!. I would love it if it actually would tell when I complete one. And is there any leveling up type award for achieving quests? Otherwise what is the purpose? I like some of the games on here but I find Kongregate's setup much easier to understand (sorry).

Oh, I get it. That actually sounds pretty cool. If you do that, 1. It should last at least a day for international players. Maybe you could make it a standard, such as every other Saturday a Challenge opens up, instead of making it happen at random dates without an announcement.

Then again, the mods would have to open a new thread to try and reduce all the new people saying "HOW DID HE GET THAT CHALLENGE, HOW DO I GET IT, CAN I GET IT, WHY CAN'T I GET IT?" because we went through that with Armatars in the AP system (and we still do with Legacy quests).

I have to say, this caught on a lot faster than I thought it would. There was a pretty big controversy when AG Points were replaced. I think I originally disagreed with the change, but it survived and it's a lot better than the original AP system.

You can. Hover your mouse over the Quest badge below the game and a small window will show up.

I find the whole Quest setup so confusing!. I would love it if it actually would tell when I complete one.

It does that too. The whole screen dims briefly and a small sword shows up in the top left side of the screen (along with a "SHWINNG!" sound effect). Even if you miss it, completed Quests turn dark below the game once they are completed.

And is there any leveling up type award for achieving quests? Otherwise what is the purpose?

No, no leveling up. It has at least three purposes:
1. Inspires competition between AG members to see who can earn the most,
2. Encourages members to play different/new flash games that they may not have been interested in before
3. Cuts down on the "spam" posts to level up.

I like some of the games on here but I find Kongregate's setup much easier to understand (sorry).

I'm not sure what's so hard to understand. I'll post a few screenshots for you if it helps.
