Colony is a rts (real time strategy) game that has single player campaign, and also features multiplayer. This game is very easy to pick up, yet requires skill to win. Any person would be able to do the builds: ie, bank, outpost, but the real game decider is your ability to micro manage resources, units, and develop strategy.

Storyline 8/10
You begin with a short tutorial, which offers you some insight to the world of Colony and its controls. On the first mission, you are investigating the lack of communication from Bjorn's settlement. As you steadily progress to the last mission (6), you will play all the different factions that are trying to take control: Facist, Capitalist, and Communist. The Campaign seemed generic and I kept asking myself why are they going to war. I believe it should have better explanations. When the Ai speaks, it says the same lines over. Generic Material. Very short campaign, finished in 10 minutes, and has no replay value at all. 8/10

Graphics/Sound 10/10
These graphics  are masterfully done. The sound matches your mood and alerts you when buildings are finished. Loading screens are informative, and do not last a century. Great work Krin!

Multiplayer 10/10
Here's where the real fun comes in :). Multiplayer features different chat rooms (lobby, afk garden) and different "modes." These modes, such as Earthquake, present the player limited options to building. For example, in cold war the player is not able to produce missles. These added mods add much more excitement! You also have the ability to choose your government, like facist or communist, and that gives you a perk in resources. I think the presence of government really separates Colony from other rts games. The ONLY major problem in Colony is the amount of hackers/glitchers. If it was included in the multiplayer score, I would have given it a 5/10. Hackers/glitchers are very annoying. Because it is not really "part" of the game I have not included it. I only hope Krin can get out an update to fix this part.

Gameplay 10/10
Easy to pick up, hard to master. Usually your strategy coincides with your government. The added monarch government adds some new color to the usual strategy. I think more governments would be good and unit upgraders.
Really, once you have the basic builds down, it just comes down to micro. Adding these things should help spice things up. 10/10

(Suggestions)
Upgraded units (Changes strategy from generic material.)
Upgraded defense structure (In colony, the best defense is offense. There is virtually no advantages to defending. You gain influence from attacking. An upgraded defense structure allows more variety and teching.)
fix glitchers and hackers (Makes game unplayable, will result in more players joining multiplayer)
fix glitches, Unkillable unit, land based units attacking air (Makes me sad)
Stop the rank reset (Rank reset makes users play less due to the lack of info about a persons skill level.)
A new government (Spice things up, change builds, adds strategy.)
Make hotkeys posted on the tutorial so we know which hotkey is which. (Will be easier to pick up. I didn't learn about hotkeys until a year after I started.)
3v3 (Get's more exciting, more players come on.)
Great game 9.5/10  Has replay value in multiplayer. Able to make friends on chat. In my opinion, best game on armorgames.

Sift Heads World Act 1: Bloody Newcomer

When I start the game, an interesting video appears and I'm drawn by the graphics of the charcters, they are stickfigures that have lots of action, which is one of the things good charcters do in assassin games.

The gameplay was quite exciting, what you do is to kill anyone in your path from trying to keep you from killing their leader. My favorite part of the whole game is racing a group of people in a car it was an exciting time.

The story was awesome. A funny and bloody story fits just right in an assassins game.

The music was smooth and nice, it was one of the best things I heard before Gangman Style.

When I got to the ending I found out that it just leaves the gamer wanting more, apparantly there is more in the other acts.

The controls I have to say I didn't really like very much, mouse is to be used for shooting, wasd is used for special things, R is used for reloading, and spacebar is turning on the gun, So all in all the controls weren't very thought out.

@toprichieboy You can post it up to the game.
@R2D21999 You need more explanation.
P2 Last sentence in paragraph two is not a sentence. It's two sentences without any punctuation or conjunction between them. "it was an exciting time." should be a new sentence. Also, why was it exciting?
P3 If you like fun bloody assassination games, what makes Sift Heads stand out?
P5 You should probably rewrite that into something. I think that's obvious that there is more, considering it's called Act 1.
P6 Why weren't the controls well thought out? You only listed the controls without saying why.

CoolioDJ, a meritorious and miscellaneous game, deserves praise and degradation. The controls are simple and are easy to learn. There are several songs available for you to play, and each one has a differing amount of difficulty. The way the developer implemented the difficulty ramp by releasing notes closer together on harder songs is interesting. However, there exists no indication that the game saves your progress, as the achievements blank out upon reloading. On the jam session, you start out with basics and move on to harder and harder songs. This game has some great things going for it, conversely though; it has some things that aren't so great.

Of the cons for this game, perhaps the worse is if you have a trackpad. So if you are using one its difficulty ranges from really hard to impossible compared to when you use a mouse. It is also really easy to master, so perhaps making the disks run on separate controls would be a good thing to add. The jam session should have more songs in it, possibly every song, because it is too short. And when I looked at the requirements for the songs, I found one to be ambiguous as it says achieve rock master in jam session, which could mean on every song or on one song or anywhere in between.

Overall, the game has some good and bad, earning it anywhere from an eight to the nine and a half depending on individual preferences. I myself really like the ease of control, but dislike the way the songs are easy at the beginning and then difficulty jumps way up on the fourth song in jam session, or hard difficulty on practice. Some of the songs sound really cool, but others are mediocre. Definitely a great game, but it has room to improve.

p.s. Here it is, refined and upgraded.

Broke it into paragraphs, edited it some more.

In my opinion, this is the best and most entertaining strategy game on Armor Games. There are countless strategies, builds, and different ways to play the game. I've been playing the game ever since it came out and I still haven't gotten tired of it, at least from the periods I have been playing it constantly. To add to that, updates have been added to the game which have brought more units, more buildings/upgrades, and ways to add friends and do all of the multiplayer things like that.

One drawback to the game is its campaign. It only has six missions, and even these are basically just tutorial missions that give you a feel for the game. This usually would be fine except for the fact that there is NOTHING else added in the campaign, which leads to the idea that this game is mostly meant for multiplayer. Quick play mode is decent; it is hard at first, but as one’s skill increases, it slowly gets easier and easier to beat the harder difficulties, which is what I think it should be.

Now to the multiplayer aspect: the multiplayer here is truly incredible. You can choose to play with players and/or a CPU as 2v2, 1v1, and 1v2. The multiplayer seems to lag a bit if you choose to play make-giant-armies-and-wait-for-the-other-team-to-attack style, but if you play a higher level of skill focused on pinning and controlling the field like most pros, the game doesn’t really lag unless you have a crappy connection.

A major drawback that many people have complained about is the many hackers and glitches in multiplayer. One way I found to help make this not as annoying is to usually play with people you know, and to not play with guests. I know Krin has added a lot of patches designed to eliminate hackers as well, which although hackers have always ways around these, I applaud these anti-hacking efforts. One other problem with the CPUs is that is seems they draw on an infinite amount of resources and are pre-set to strategies that confine them resource-wise. This is fine, but however hard CPUs upgrade much faster than a normal player, although they can still be beaten and even 1v2ed by me easily. So that isn’t much of an issue to me. Also, there are some bugs in the game that can be exploited, such as when canceling a command at the very last second the command goes through yet you still get a refund, which gives you no resource loss but still a unit deployed. Another is that it seems when clicking an influence unit many times in rapid succession you suddenly are awarded 200 influence. Sometimes glitchers cheat using these bugs and others, but you can counter-glitch them if need be.

Finally, the game is slightly imbalanced in some ways, pertaining to units, resource structures, and governments. Communist is slightly weaker compared to the other governments. Special forces massed destroy forge. Tier 3 Forge is very weak compared to tier 3 Post. Hospital and War Sanctum have a lot of extra uses, which gives them an advantage over Generator and Solar Grid. Groditz are weak and rarely used. Marines are too useful for their price. The armory has lost its use in high-level games. These are some imbalances, others can be seen in the General Colony Discussion with some digging. Even so, these imbalances don’t amount to that much, as you can still have very closely matched games with two very different strategies that rely on different units. Colony is a great game that has kept me entertained for all these years with its excellent multiplayer and superior gameplay. Keep up the great work Krin!

Yes I appologize for that I was being rushed when I typed that.

Am I allowed to make another one?
