Macy's is the cheaper alternative with a wider selection of clothes. I've never thought there to be any reason to go to Nordstrom unless you're some kind of fop.

I've never bought anything at Nordstrom. However I have bought things at Macy's many times. So for that reason i'm going for Macy's.

Most of the shirts I own are from Macy's. They aren't always the best fit for a taller, thinner man with broad shoulders and a smaller waist, but the button-down ones generally look good enough on me so I can pull off the laid-back formal-casual look.

I don't really care about clothing stores, but I'll go with Macy's as I've never heard of NerdStorm. Wut? NerdStorm is not the name? You sure?

I don't have a clue what either of these places are. But because I vaguely (think) I remember being at a store called Macy's once, they'll get my vote.

This is surprising to me. Not only are there no votes for Nordstrom, but four of you haven't even been to one or even heard of the store.

I will vote for Nordstrom for its legendary customer service. Nordstrom employees are always eager to give you as much help as you need, and usually they will stay with you until you make your purchase.

Nordstrom has 260 operating stores in 36 states. Macy's has 793 operating stores in 45 states. Statistically, the outcome should not be a surprise.
