The Operator is very heavily based off of Slenderman..and is essentially Marble Hornets interpretation of him..but they are 2 different entities

Although The Slenderman may not exist. There is much out there that we do not know. The Germans have a legend of something by the name of "Der Ritter". The legend tells of a creature, that is described much like The Slenderman.

Anyways, The Slenderman, is a fake creature. It was created by someone who wanted to get the attention, and they did.

I personally believe that there are many creatures that we are unaware of. So, with my belief, there may be something along the lines of The Slenderman out there. But, The Slenderman himself does not exist.

No, I don't believe in the Slenderman, but he has made it a real pain to wake up in the middle of the night. When I wake up early in the morning I'm not all there and very paranoid and pretty much terrified to go anywhere in my house that's dark, even though I know, even in the state that I'm in, that he's not real.
