Okay, let me get this right:
Gamermartin: Level 6, XP 500/6000 (Support) 5050 HP, 0 MP [Aim (Ready)]
Weapon: Life-sword (Regen) (T4-Medium)
Armor: Crystal Body T3-Light) (Reflective)
Inventory: (4/10) (Light) Oak Staff (T1), Crystal Shards (???), Mage robes (T1), Health Tonic (50Hp) [x3], Hill Giant's mallet (T3-Heavy)
Selphy the Elf: Level 4, XP 900/4000 (Infantry) 4000 HP, 150 MP
Weapon: Elfin Short bow (T4-Light) [Strong Strike (Ready!)]
Armor: Monster Hides (T3-Medium)
Inventory (3/10): Spell book (T3-Light), Strong Healing Herbs (Heals 500 Health), Archer's Poison Vial (T2)
Abilities: Strong Strike (CD: Ready!)

The letter [E] clicks when you press it. The stone table turns white and shines brightly. It was an illusion! When you open your eyes, the table has vanished in a cloud of smoke. In its place is...A HUGE BOMB.

Three powder kegs are lashed together with a large metal box on top. The box has a wide, round dial on the front, labelled 0 to 60 (like a spedometer in a car, but only up to 60). As you watch, the needle starts going from 60 to zero, one notch per second. A timer! Four thick wires are connected to it from four directions. One is blue, one is red, one is green and one is white. A thin knife is resting on top of the box.

Oh, and the door to this room has vanished too.

I look around the room and try to let my eyes become adjusted to the darkness. If that fails, I walk to where the chest was and attempt to open it.

@Kyle: You can't seem to get adjust to the dark because there is literally zero visibility. You walk toward the chest, but something moves and you trip and land on the floor.

"You only see what is right in front of you. If you want to find me, you must go beyond what you can see."

I attempt to see if he is moving or has a distinct smell that I can use to tell where he is. I also remove my helmet so my senses can work properly.

@Kyle: (You're standing up again, I assume). You can't smell anything, but you can hear movements. Whatever it is, it's wearing a robe and you can hear it shuffling, but you can't quite tell where. You remove your helmet and are suddenly kicked in the chest into a pillar (no HP damage).

"You cannot trust your eyes," the voice says. "You cannot trust your ears. I could be anywhere..."

You hear movement. He's either on your right or your left.

Well, if I can hear him with the helmet, I wouldn't remove it...

I use my sixth sense! I grab to the right.

@Kyle: You miss! He strikes you from the left and vanishes. "Find me!" the voice hisses, and you are pushed into the open (the echoing makes it hard to determine where he is). You hear movement again. He's either in front or behind you. Remember, your Failsword is equipped. You could always try to hit him with it. Lol.

(I'm flipping a coin to see if you hit him or not. Don't worry, I'm only going three rounds. You will get a bonus if you hit him early).

as much as I want too, I won't use my sword. I grab the thin knife and start working on cutting the white wire.

@Gamer: Your life flashes before your eyes. The bomb goes off, vaporizing you. The room is destroyed as well.

Do you respawn now or what? You go in the "Dead Heroes" section, but what happens then?
