I always enjoyed the music in Metroid games. They fit the mood and can be either fast paced or slow, and don't have crappy singing (because they don't have singing to begin with) but seem like they're a part of the game.
*LoZ - Seriously...have you ever listened to that shiz?? hashtagbeautiful
*Tetris - you already have it playing in your head if you have ever heard of it
*Pokemon - **** did I feel epic during a battle with that music going...I wouldn't mind if the music from Pokemon followed me around everywhere (evolve music during thumpus-in-the-rhumpus time..oh yeah)
Mass Effect 3 Earth ost. K-DST songs from GTA SA still summon nostalgic feelings. Most of Mario's tracks. And many more but I can't think of anymore by name now.
I feel so special because I'm currently doing an entire project on Video Game Music, and I can contribute here with an "expert opinion" :3...
