I know my computer isn't the newest but couldn't you have more control over the bandwidth your banner ads consume? They absolutely ruin gaming performance. I therefore, have to find something else to do...like work. This has been an increasingly annoying problem, especially when the same ad is placed above and below the game window. I can also see the effects on a newer computer. So, the solution isn't buying another computer.

Sorry. It's a Chrome problem. I opened AG in Firefox and it seems to have cleared up some.

You could use flash block. It'll block those moving ads while keeping the regular ones.

The ads dont load 1/2 the time, and the other half they play for 30 seconds and then I get a black box and nothing happens!!! I came here to play games, not to watch ads!!!!

adblock does nothing to fix that problem.
With adblock the ad doesn't load and neither does the game. Without adblock the ad plays but when it gets to the end the game still doesn't load!

I'm not impatient; I can wait out the ads but they mess up the games so I can't play them anymore.
