There are two that can happen at any point in time.
1. a solar flare
2. a gamma ray burst
Why do you think those would be enough to kill off all humans? Such things have happened before and lookie, we're still here. Stronger versions might have an effect like a global EMP, if they're really strong; but I don't see any happen any time soon that would be strong enough to roast us all.

when my race decides the human fate thats when it might be killed off in a thosand or so years from now yes that is how long my race takes to decid things like planetary destruction ou humans wont see it comeing fast enough we have already put in some effects like the increaseing natrual disasters that have been recorded to see how well you could survive that and you seem to be able to pretty well and thus your getting closer to our race destroying your race

Personally, I think the human race will fall by their own hands. With all the pollution, drilling for gas, oil spills, wars, nuclear plants, one slip of a button and were all screwed I'd say. Just my opinion.

I agree with Minotaur55, humans are gonna kill the planet. Our extinction will mostly be caused by global warming: the planet will heat up, then dry out, and so and so. Then no one will be able to survive, including everything else alive besides humans =(.

Tss, silly. Thinking we are able to detroy the planet...
About the climate issue, life had much warmer periods than what we have now, at times there was tropical forest on most land parts. So no, the planet will not dry out. We may, however, together with many other species, find a hard time to accomodate to warmer climate if it comes too fast.
