I'm alright with them, but it's tiring seeing every trendy music act these days having to bust out a lead with an acoustic guitar, and a few more esoteric instruments.
At least it's not all vocals. They do have some intense instrumental sections, most notably, Dustbowl Dance.
Their lyrics aren't quite as cut-and-paste as most pop songs are, either.
I didn't listen to their new album much, but on the run-through that I did, I wasn't quite as impressed with it as I was with Sigh No More. It was mostly because most of their songs are fitting to a specific sound and style now, rather than the uniqueness of each song of the first, but I suppose I'll listen to it again.
