You guys thought you dodged a bullet when Reton8 said he was going to "try and see something more creative" instead of "sine waves and parabolic arches."As if! This is truly what I thought of the first time I saw the line: part of the combined graphing of what later turned out to be y= 2.5sin(2x) and y= -2.3cos(3x) with a little manipulation of the window. I have dutifully outlined the original line for you just in case you wouldn't be able to spot it yourselves! I admit it's not the exact line that is in the graph, but I have too much math homework to finish to worry about pesky details :D Happy trig!
