About the world:

Welcome to the continent of Irridia. For generations the Humans of âThe Empireâ have fought the âConglomerate Of Tribesâ with the support of their allies, the Dwarves, while the Sylvan Elves fought the Dark Elves. And for generation the balance of power was intact. But then Humans and Elves allied, forming âTHE ALLIANCE OF LIGHTâ. And the balance shifted. Now on the losing side the âTribesâ and the Dark Elves formed a tedious alliance to become âTHE DUNGEONâ. The war continued. But then a new threat arises. In the east of âThe Empireâ the obscure cult of necromancers caused a cataclysm that turned vast areas of the land into swampland. Many died and the necromancers turned them into undead hordes and took over the newly formed swampland. The war effort of the âThe Empireâ shifted towards the eastern lands that were formerly theirs. âThe Dungeonâ however couldnât benefit from it as the Necromancers slowly but surely began attacking âThe Tribesâ. Now both sides fight not only each other but also a new common foe. In addition to this there are rumors of an even bigger evil slowly emerging from the north. The fate of the whole world now rests in the hands of those who decide to take up the cause and fight. The fate of the world now lies in the hands of THE HEROES OF IRRIDIA!

Sizadiev:
You fail to sneak up on the hobgoblins. however you still catch them by surprise.

Round one: you stab one of the hobgoblin and hit him twice. he falls to the ground unconscious. the other hobgoblin is now ready
Round two: you stab the other hobgoblin twice. he screams in pain and looks quite hurt. he misses you
Round 3: The hobgoblin is able to parry one of your blows but you stab him in the heart with your other dagger. killing him
Round 4: you finish off the unconcious hobgoblin

you look around... there are some some stinking furs lying around. it seems they were used as beds and are REALLY dirty and stinky, the hobgoblins wear crude linen cloths and used clubs as weapons... there is not really much to loot... but you find 3 gold pieces. you now have 19 you also get 4 xp you now hav 4/10

what do you do now?

(last ubdate for today as it is after 4 am here... see you in a few hours)

Kenji: The shopkeeper replies:" No haven't heard much of the dungeon lately... beside some darl elven pirates on the south coast. As for quests... you shoould go to the tavern surely there are people there who need your help."

What do you do?

-----------

Sizadiev: It seems the small room you are in is the last room of the cave. You turn around to leave but before you can you see a hobgoblin a few meters away from you. He stands between you and the cave entrance and has his weapon readied. (Successful Per test: You realize that when you draw your bow the hobgoblin will probably charge you and reach you before you can shoot so if you want to fight you probably have to take on him in close combat)

What do you do?

Sizadiev:

Ready your weapons and attack the Hobgoblin.

Round 1: You hit him once, scratching him. He misses.
Round 2: You hit him twice, scrathing him twice. He looks hurt. He hits you but you parry his blow.
Round 3: You hit him once with a forceful blow. He seems like he will die any moment now. He hits you with a forceful blow (5 Damage)
Round 4: You hit him. He falls to the ground unconcious and you finish him off.

You have a nasty gash on your arm (you now have 27/32 HP)(they will regenerate over night)
You get 3 XP you now have 7/10
You look through the hobgoblins belongings... he also wears crude linen. His weapon seems to be an old rusty axe. But you also find 5 Gold pieces, you now have 24

You are standing on the main Plaza of the human town Quickspring. It's market day and there are many Merchants praising their goods. You can find almost anything here. What do you want to do? Do you want to go to one of the merchants? Or go to an Inn? Or do something different?

Endrek:
You ask a random citizen if he knows someone who teaches magic.
"Magic?", he asks "Well there is the magesguild of the town. It is over there"
He points in the center of the city at a tall but filigrane tower.

What do you do now?

Endrek:
You head to the magesguild and ,as a mage, are swiftly let in. You ask one of the mages if he could teach you magic.
"Why yes... of course... you are quite young to i could teach you many a thing... i can teach you a spell for only 100 goldpieces. "

(you basically buy xp as you get a new spell when you level up... you can buy up to 50 xp. 1 xp costs 10 gp)

so? what now?

Kenji:
You enter the tavern. It is a big circular room with the tree it is build around as a pillar in the middle. There are two groups of people sitting here. A group of 3 Elves talking to each other on on table and two humans on the other side of the room. The barmaiden, a blonde female elf is talking with the human customers. In the back of the tavern is counter and a barman stands behind it.

What do you do?

Endrek:
You quickly find someone to point you in the direction of a tavern. Aftee a short walk you reach it. As you enter it, you percievea thick smell of beer and smoke. There are several groups of people talking and trinking beer. Two Barmaids are runnign around with beer and food for the customer.

What do you do?

*i just read your message about magic shards being flat out better. i should have said that there is one test for every of the projectiles and if one fails the next wont be made...

eg: you cast magic shards and the first projectile is formed succesful and the second isn't. then there is no roll for the third...

so all in all it can be better but is more risky as it can happen that only one projectile is cast*

Endrek:
You go to the bar and order a beer which promptly arrives (it costs you 1 gold) and go to a nearby table to sit down.

*And no if a spell isn't cast it doesn't cost mana... it just doesn't to as much damage... which can be bad*

Sizadiev: You head to the village. After a few hours you arrive. There is a market but as the day is ending it is mostly empty. There is also a harbour inn where you can surely find interresting people who are in need of your ... service... you could also go to the ship that is harboured there and ask the captain if they need someone

Sizadiev: There are many dark Elves sitting in here talking and drinking booze... however there is one group of people sitting in the shadows and talking silently... they especially catch your eye because one of them is ..an orc?!

Do you talk to them? or do you ask for a drink? ( or you could of course do something entirely different)
