Posted Feb 8, '13 at 1:47am dragonball05 1,571 posts	Outside a room are three light switches. You can turn them on and off as often as you like. After entering the room, you can not leave again to turn the change the light switches. Only one light switch turns the light in the room on. How do you find out which one turns the light on?

Posted Feb 8, '13 at 2:22am leo99rules 1,744 posts	Easy. Turn switch 1 on for a good 5 minutes. Turn switch 2 on and enter room. If the light is on: Switch one is the light bulb. If the light is off, feel the light bulb. If it is warm then it is light switch 1. If it is cold then it is light switch 3.

After a few hours of climbing, one of the guides fell into a deep crevasse. The climber and the other guide continued the climb and did not raise the alarm, and did not seem worried at all. Why?
