I vote dogs.
all the others are not much for constant companionship and loyalty. especially cats. cats are vicious and bipolar. they have violent mood swings and are natural born killers.

No DOGS are vicious. And they can actually hurt people. Fun Fact: Dogs eat more people yearly than wolves.

Dogs eat more people yearly than wolves.
and outdoor cats devastate local wildlife populations. They're both animals, and cats can be incredibly vicious, my friends grandmum had cats that took out a coyote.

Dogs: Very loud and noisy. Plus I got chased by one and it wasn't playing.
Bird: Even more noisy than dogs.
Fish: No it will die in about a week(minimum).
Reptile: No... don't really have a reason for this one.
Cat: Yes this takes the cake. I have 3 cats none are noisy(unless you put them all in one room) They rarely scratch and bite and when they do it means they want to play. Plus it's basically the mascot of the internet.

I'm going with dogs on this one. Cats are just annoying, reptiles are a lot of work, and birds make a huge mess. Any other reasons given above can be assumed as my own.

Because their owners are incapable idiots. And because dogs are used to humans. Stray dogs also cause a big damage to the local wildlife by chasing deer, for example. Though to be fair, cats kill way more animals, birds and such. Plus, if need be, cats will feed off from your corpse, while a loyal dog will stand by your side.
