Because people like to tell jokes, all right. I never watched his movies but I think most of them had him beating people up.

Why do people do this? It's self-explanatory really.
On a less serious note ;) I do believe the first Chuck Norris joke was by Conan O'Brian (mispelling?) on his old TV show before he took over for Jay(J?) Lenno(?) and after that it took off.

People, I guess like his jokes. I mean they are sometimes funny and it can get annoying but it's like there to have a good laugh.

*facepalm* Sorry for that,I mistaken those guys,but my friend told me that Bruce Lee was a student of Chuck Norris(of course,Chuck didn't give him Math lessons,but martial art lessons).

I think the jokes came before Chuck Norris vs Bruce Lee. And I think people just didn't really want to change it.
