The man on the floor groans. He has lost a considerable amount of blood. He points to a dresser on one wall. “Middle drawer...white box...”

--------------
Story:

@Rick
You untie the boat and row slowly to the center of the Lake. The island is indeed a small circle of sand. The birdhouse is actually a wooden post with a wooden arch on top and a copper bell and a small mallet. A plaque is beneath it, reading “Call the Lady if you dare.” You get a strange feeling that you’re going to get in a lot of trouble for this..

@Kyle
A mysterious figure approaches, covered by a robe and hood. “The door has vanished. That is not all that will vanish. You have come to train. The training begin-“ He stops, then removes his hood. A large Panther is standing in front of you on his hind legs like a man. He looks hard at you and tilts his head. “You are familiar, and yet I am certain we have never met. Have you passed my training before? If so, what is in the chest?”

@Bluydee
You step through the left door. You are in a square-shaped room with a curved back wall (the exterior wall). The room is well-lit from a few torches on both sides of the door and on two pillars in the center of the room. Between them is a stone table with a tiny chest on it. The table has four tiles on it and a message carved into the stone:
GIVE ME FOOD AND I SHALL LIVE
GIVE ME DRINK AND I SHALL DIE

The four tiles each have a word written on them: “Man” “Earth” “Water” “Fire”

On closer inspection, the tiles are actually buttons of some kind and can be pressed.

@Subzero
You have only trees for cover. You duck behind the next one up and notch an arrow. A few seconds later, you hear a rustle in the top of your tree. You fire an arrow into the leaves and hear a *thump*, followed by a sharp scream. A strange creature drops out of the tree, backflips and lands on a lower limb. It has very long arms and legs and a long tail, but it has thumbs and a sinister human face. It is carrying a short, thorny bow and a small quiver of arrows. Your arrow is protruding from its leg. The creature reaches down and jerks the arrow out and throws it away.

-Epic Battle Music-

@Shadow
The General Store is run by an older elf wielding a broom that he uses constantly. He looks up as you approach his store and snarls “Anarchist! You’ll get no business from me!” He takes the broom and spins it in his hand, turning it into a makeshift staff. “Leave at once or I’ll be forced to use my training!” He stops, then bursts into a sharp laugh. “Had you there! I don’t turn business away from anyone. Mind your manner and you’ll have no trouble here.”

White Forest (L1) Elf General Store:
Elven Cape (L1) [2G]: Accessorize with an Elven marching cape. Keeps the rain off briefly.
Elven Tunic (Green) (L1) [10G]: The most basic form of Elven clothing.
Adventure Cape [20G]: Look extra adventurous in a cape! People like capes.
Powder Bomb (per 5) [30G]: Toss one and be rewarded with a powerful bang!
Smoke Bomblet (per 5) [10G]: Toss one for a brief shield of smoke!
Wolf Horn [20G]: Used to call Wolf Monsters. Instant random encounter!

Cool New Feature: Monster Cards (Described at message board)
MC: Wolfpup [10G]
MC: Wolfdog [30G]
Wildcard (Random): [10G]

Cool New Feature: Monster Capture Orb (Described at message board)
Monster Capture Orb (@50) [10G]
Monster Capture Orb (@100) [20G]

Welcome to the Valley of Caves. The road seems to simply lead into a wide canyon that climbs dangerously on both sides. Not long after you step inside it that you notices the holes in both sides. Most of the holes are too small for a man to fit through. You see sinister eyes peering out of more than one. Ahead you find two large caves on the left wall and three large caves on the right.

@pang
The room is long and rectangular. Thick wooden poles are set up with bars for hand combat training. At the end of the room is a tall Barbarian, sharpening a sword with a whetstone. He sees you approach. “Ha! What have we! A mage to learn the art of swordsmanship? You may find yourself in the wrong place, my friend!” He examines your Mage Staff. “Hmph. That could well be a weapon if handled properly. Would you be interested in learning how to fight with it?”

--------------
Message Board:

@Magic: What exactly is a “defense boost thing?” There are no stats for Offense and Defense. You will have to find (or buy) better armor. However, as an Assassin, you will take more damage than anyone else (hence the “loss”).

@Raispeed: You need to fix your stat sheet (see my previous post).

[i[Cool New Features:[/i]
Monster Card: A small rectangular card with a hand-painted image of a monster and its name. Good for collections. Higher value for an entire set (Each monster breed comes in three types).

Monster Capture Orb: A small, dense sphere, made of white crystal. It has a small gray button on one side. Use it to capture (aka, defeat) Monsters once they have reached the required health.
Example: @50 means you can use the Orb to defeat a monster once it has 50 or less health. The higher the number, the sooner you can defeat a monster, but higher the price. Capture Orbs can retain one Monster apiece and can be traded or sold (by non-summoners). A Summoner can choose to keep the Orb (with the monster inside) or use it and add that monster to his Summondex (this does not apply to bosses or Legendaries).

@Bluydee
The chest is locked from the inside, it seems. It cannot be forced open. This is your first official puzzle room.

@rick
You lift the small mallet and strike the bell. Nothing happens for a short time. Then you see a movement under the water. Something wearing very light blue clothing whisks past you, circling the island. Out of seemingly nowhere, a massive eye, at least four inches wide, opens under the water and stares at you. The pupil is a crystal blue with a black mix. A voice, or maybe it is just in your head, says "What is your business with me?"

@Gamer
Hang on, need to fix something. Selphy's health, MP and EXP are way off.

Name: Selphy (Gamer), 650 HP, 200 MP
Class: Archer, Level 5, EXP (0/750)

Armor: Monster Fur (L3)
Inventory (3/10): Arrows (-/-), Defense Book (L3: Healing 500 HP [50 MP]), Archer’s Poison Vial (L2)

I think that's right...man it's confusing sometimes.

You approach one of the caves to the left. It's extremely dark and you can see only a few feet ahead of you. From behind you comes a screech of some kind. You turn just in time to see a scorpion the size of a wolf crawl out of a hole and head towards you and Selphy!
