You shoot the Goblin straight in the chest, missing his heart by a fraction but still dealing 15! The Goblin manages to get his footing back on the tree and shoots back, hitting you and dealing 10! He scrambles into the top of the tree.

(You are L1 with an L1 bow. One arrow at a time! Later on you will be able to shoot more. Anyway. Finishing move time! Take a shot. You have a 50% chance of insta-killing and a 50% chance of missing. I will flip a coin to ensure random chance. Also, 5G added).

Yes sir. I will only shoot one arrow with my nooby bow from now on. Now, onto the killshot. I focus all my power, teachings, strength, and peace into this one shot.

Review:
I'll give this game a 6/7. The point I docked is due to the fact that.... that.... I can't think of anything. Ok, 7/7. I like how you reply so often, how dedicated you are to the game, the level of detail in the game, and how it appears there is going to be perk trees of sorts as we level up. I tell you if I think of any cons.

Can I make an exception to my rule and bump this game up to a 7/7?

The man grins. “You play cards, do you? Alright then. We can play for Gold or for fun, as I have some game coins in a tin somewhere. I’m in no mood to take your money, though, what with you saving my life and all, but the choice is yours. Which game, what stakes?”

(You have 5G and Red Bear Fur, which has a value but is not always a bargaining tool. The man in this case plays only for Gold, or for game coins, aka poker chips. Choose a game and a currency).

"Hahaha, I think I'll just play for fun, don't have much gold with me anyways.' I laugh and say. "Hmmm, what games do you know? I'd like to play Blackjack, if you know it."

Hmm, from my point of view, the game is pretty well thought out, though I haven't 'experienced' much, though there may be some questions later, like how do you upgrade your kingdom's castle and such, not much as of right now. What I like best, would probably be how much effort you put into managing the game. As for what I like least, not sure yet, I'll think about and get back to you on a later date, if I don't forget. As for rating... 5/7, for now, mainly due to combat (not describing the environment enough, I feel you put emphasis on attacking rather (like location of attack, vitals, etc - though I can't really say, mainly only read my story, and only 'experienced' one combat so far; in the combat, if I put myself in the character's shoes, I wouldn't have been able to pay attention to my surrounds either, panicky because there is a bear attacking someone and needing to do something about that quickly); your surroundings are your most powerful ally in a fight,, to me anyways.)

Ps. Want my gold XD, and sorry for not having posted yesterday, was kinda busy.

(+5G for review)

You concentrate and take the shot.....(flips coin) and NAIL him! The arrow hits the Tree Golbin in the throat and goes into his brain. He drops straight out of the tree to the ground. +100 EXP, Level up!
+50HP
+Access to L2
+10G (from the Goblin)
+Goblin Shortbow (L1)
+Goblin Tunic (L1)

Note: Usually a person gets a bonus for your first level up (a Barbarian’s skin levels up, a Mage gets a Defense Book, etc). I have nothing specific for a Ranger yet (oops), so I will give you the Ranger’s Hunting Knife, since you have only long-range weapons and cannot use arrows as a melee weapon (you can only use one weapon per turn, since a bow is a two-handed weapon. You can’t shoot an arrow, then stab an enemy in the same turn. Also, enemy items will go immediately to your inventory. If it maxes out, you will have to drop some items. You can drop them now, or head to a town or the Castle to sell them. Or equip them, but they’re crap L1 Goblin items.)

Your new Stat Sheet! Yay!

To your surprise (and the bear’s), a large collection of Knight’s shields (you hadn’t noticed them before) hanging on the wall drop to the floor, burying the bear in a mile of shields. It roars again and tries desperately to climb out of the pile! (5G added to Gold slot)

@Bluydee
You use the key to unlock the back door. Floor 2 complete! +100 EXP

Summondex: 0

@Sonic
The two men, clearly Warriors of the Anarchy, glance up at you. One replies “5G is the lowest value we can place on an item. That’s probably worth even less.” He takes it and draws it from its sheath, examining the blade. “Barely sharp. But it still has value.” He slides it back into the sheath and tosses you 5G. “Anything else I can do for you? Brac is waiting for me to deal.”

@Max
The man shrugs. “Alright then. We’ll play that. My name is Vichtor, by the way.” He sits down at a table and lights a lantern, then opens a small box and gets out a deck of cards and a tin. “I have game coins, if you want to play for those. No real value. Or we can just play hand-by-hand and to the Lake with keeping score.” (+5G for the review)

--------------
Message Board:

AllPlayers:
1. Cool new location. I should have added it first thing. You will now be able to travel to the ancient Castle Terrus of the Kingdom (hope you read the Story on the first page)! It’s an old, but beautiful, castle, miles wide and extremely vast. It’s abandoned now, though....or is it? You are in for a serious surprise if you venture to Castle Terrus.

2. Card games! (This post is only about card games. If you don’t care, you can skip it, nothing special at the end of this one). Two card games are now available: Blackjack and Poker. You can, as I mentioned before, play for Gold or for fun. This world uses “game coins” (may also be called “game tokens”) which are essentially Poker chips. There are five values: 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20. Each Coin has one of those numbers on one side and the symbol of the Kingdom or the Anarchy on the other (depends where you are. Doesn’t change the game). Since 5G is the lowest value that can be placed on an item, each token will be its number multiplied by 5.

Coin to Gold ratio:
1 = 5
2 = 10
5 = 25
10 = 50
20 = 100

Betting will always be “pot limit” (aka, you cannot bid more than the pot currently holds), antes will remain constant and the cards will look like this:
H = Hearts
C = Clubs
S = Spades
D = Diamonds
1-10 are the same
J, Q, K and A for face cards.
No Jokers.

Ex:
Your cards: [AC] [2S]
Opponent’s cards: [??] [??]
Poker set-up: [4S] [JH] [3D] [??] [??]

It will take some getting used to, but it’s a good way to win Gold. I will play every hand with actual cards, shuffled and dealt in order. The end! For now!

END GM Sheet

Fail. I did not upgrade a couple of people's Level-Ups to their section of the GM Sheet. I just updated it and it will be fixed when the next sheet comes out.

Yay!! Level up! A hunting knife sounds good. Well, now I continue to the signs, and unless they are different signs then what other people have gotten, I follow the one that points to Scarborough. I remain wary to the fact that the goblin may have friends nearby.

I Cant wait to explore Castle Terrus. I'm going there right after I get out of the White Forest.

I do another shield bash, then I try to dodge it's counter attack (if any) and then I try to go for a hack-n-slash combo.

Thanks for the gold! :)

@Bluydee
You arrive at Floor 3. In the very center is a very thick circular column with a door on it (locked). There are two other doors (one on the right and one on the left) and, strangely, a keyhole on the other side of the column.

@SubZero
You head to Scarborough. It's not that far away and soon comes into view. It's a relatively small elf village, surrounded by interlocking wooden posts that form a solid wall. It has a single double-door gate and a watchtower with an elf. He notices you and calls out "For what purpose do you visit Scarborough?"

@Sonic
Brac shrugs and grabs a seat from another table, letting you play. "I'm Brac and he's Bric. You have a name?" he asks as he shuffles and deals the cards.
Ante: 1 (5G. I hope you read the AllPlayer message in the last GM Sheet, it explains card games thoroughly).
Raise: Pot Limit.

Blackjack Rules: You ante up. You are dealt two card. Values stand at traditional Blackjack values (1-10, face cards are 10, Aces can be a 1 or an 11 at your choice). You can raise, ask for a hit, or stand. If someone else raises, you must call or fold.

You (Your Ante): Your cards

Bric (1): [??] [??]
Brac (1): [??] [??]

You shield-bash again, but the Wolfdog is not so gullible and dodges. He strikes from the side, dealing 10! You "hack n slash" your way to another 30!
