I rush over to the drawer he is talking about, grab the white box, then bring it to him

The sand begins trickling. As you watch it for a few seconds, the orbs shudder, then suddenly fly straight into the statue on their side, as though they were fired from a crossbow. The statues break away from the wall, eyes glowing and weapons primed. The chain turns a bright gold and cackles with electricity. The staff turns a deep green and drips poison.

Your eye catches the scroll, which seemed to glow briefly. The wording has changed. It now says "To end this puzzle, reverse the sands of time"

I try to get to the hourglass, blasting the statues with lightning.

(That's all I can think of for now. You have some excellent choices, though. You can choose a color for your clothing, so it's not limited to just green or brown. Also, some shops have high-quality merchandise not publicly available. Ask shopkeepers if they have an "errand" or sidequest for you and you might get a discount!)

"An excellent selection, sir. One of the finest I've seen." I say to the elf. "Some of it, however, is a little to rich for an enterprising Ranger such as myself. Do you have anything you need done that could help me out in that regard?"

Alright, the Castle Store! Oh good. *cracks knuckles* I’m going to post it in the Message Board, so everyone will be able to see it (because I don’t want to have to post it too many times!)

The box is white with a large red blood splash painted on the top. You toss it to him, and he uses it to patch himself up with gauze and a health tonic or two. The man stands up and stretches carefully. He is considerably taller than you and very muscular. He gives you a smirk. “I had him right where I wanted him, you know.”

The hourglass is sitting innocently in front you of you, sand trickling slowly. The yellow-eyes statue absorbs your lighting damage and throws the chain, missing you by an inch! (I think you’ve solved it, but you’d better handle it now because you’re going to get into a nasty battle if you don’t.)

The elf looks at you as though you’re talking in another language. “No.” he says shortly, glancing at you Gold pouch. He apparently doesn’t believe that you’re an “enterprising” Ranger. “However,” the elf says suddenly, “We are holding a Fair today. Are you going?” he says with an odd tone, as though he is requesting a password.

The Castle Store! This is the first time posting it, and I’m going to give you a full breakdown of it, so listen up! Notes from me will be in ( ). If something doesn't make sense, or you have a question, PLEASE ask me now while I'm still working out the kinks!

~CASTLE STORE~

Heroes:

(This is your section of the store. Weapons, armor, inventory. Set price, no negotiations. Some classes cannot purchase certain items. Some items do not level up because they only have one purpose, such as the Hunting Hood)
All default items are available, always, 5G apiece. Check your original Stat Sheet for your L1 gear.
Weapons
    -Straight Sword (L2): 10G
    -Broadsword (L2): Deal more damage with more sword! 15G
    -War Axe (L2): 10G
    -War Hammer (L2): Smash stuff, ok? 15G

You take the opporunity to get in a sweet 10+15 combo! The Wolfdog lets off, then slashes you and hits your shoulder, dealing 10! (Give me a good move for a killcam. Keep in mind you're using an L1 weapon and can only deal 10-15 damage with an accurate attack).
