You enter Flatwater Lake (L1). It appears to be a large lake, surrounded by a thin forest. A small cabin is to your left. The sun glints off the lake, showing extremely flat water. A rowboat is tied to a short wooden stake in front of you, resting on a glittering sandy beach.

I'll head towards the cabin and knock on the door, asking "Is anyone home?" If no answer, I'll try opening the door and heading inside.

PS. How about constructs, for mages? Like how necromancers (they are considered mages) can create constructs of bones and rotten flesh.

You know on the cabin door, but no one answers. Instead, you hear a lot of scuffling and banging around. It sounds like two men are fighting. You hear a yell of pain, then a deep roar. The door is unlocked, so you carefully open it. A large, muscular man is lying on the floor. He looks badly injured. On top of him is something resembling a small bear. It looks and you and roars again, then attacks!

-Epic Battle music-

When in a battle, just re-post your stat sheet and state your move. You can say "I raise my shield to block his attack, then slash at his neck." You cannot say "I chop his legs off and stab him in the heart," because that's my job. I tell you what your attack did, then what the enemy does. You get the idea.

You approach the cabin. It is a nice little log house with a chimney, a front door and a single window. You knock on the door and hear someone say "Eh? Who's there?" in a sharp accent.

Note: Someone else also went to Flatwater Lake. In their story, they enter the cabin and are attacked by a bear. I'm keeping the scenery the same but I'm making every story a little different. Yay!

@SubZero, you played EPIC's version, right? In one of my earlier threads, I announced that there is no "cut-off" date, so you can join right now. In fact, do that. Everyone is low-level. If you played EPIC's version, you have access to the Starter Pack (At the bottom of my first post on this Thread). Read the instructions. Pick a class. PLEASE get it right the first time. I went over the details as clearly as possible.

I would love to say that I did play Epic's game, but unfortunately, no, I did not. Alright, it took a lot of effort, but I studied through most of your posts without tl;dr'ing. (Don't worry, I read all of the rules.) Pretty dang complicated, but I think I got it. Here goes:
