In the top left corner of the map there is the "endless"-field and under that one guy gives you a quest... find a scroll, youll get the scroll from another quest in the desert-town. Then you can read the scroll and you discover the secret path through the "endless"-field^^
Getting to the glitch isn't too hard, once you've hit the switch in the desert (switch X i think) you can backtrack through the waste disposal plant changing the switches to the right combo (written on the wall of the glitch room). Once doors start closing on you and spikes coming back up you'll usually use the hammer to open a new route round the obstacle. The batteries also come back into play a bit. Once you've done that you can come out of the Whitefall end and fast travel back to the desert to a hopefully open glitch room.
Fighting it just requires non-elemental damage, I used the chainsaw blade on Matt, eagle eye bow on Anna and Natalie's star spells. If you take out both of the smaller enemies every turn they can only instakill one person. My main tactic was using Matt's swift slash and Natalie's star spells to take out both small ones and damage the big one, with Anna reviving whoever dies and slipping in an attack now and then. The random triple sawblades proc from the sword occasionally gave me some free damage as well.
Also the 'kitten fort' summon (from a quest in the jungle) is really great for this fight. It does some non-elemental damage and gives all your characters morale, meaning you can survive hits from the glitch with 1hp if you had more than 50% health. There's also some gear that gives this status randomly.
