I love the games and the earlier episodes of when Pokemon was just beginning, but now the new episodes suck.

the second series was good, but it went down hill with the third

Pokemon kind of died out a while back, my cousin watches it, but she's three, I think Pokemon is appealing to younger ages and geeks because of the characters always being energetic and talkative, and because there will always be new games with new Pokemon with even more ridiculous names (I mean Seel, how unimaginative can you get!!!) which will be fused into the TV series.
