As I was reminiscing about myself in old threads, I've found a really interesting and exciting thread that I was surprised was locked and discontinued. It was this thread.
So you know what? I'm bringing it back, new and improved!
Goal: Get to the top of the building with anything you can think of! The person who gets to the top will be the new host, who can then defend other people from getting to the top once again!
FOR EXAMPLE:
Jimmy5748432: I use a girrafe to get to the top.
alexhasboomboom: The giraffe is not tall enough.
Jimmy5748432: I use a jetpack to get to the top.
alexhasboomboom: You run out of fuel and hit the ground
Jimmy5748432: I use a flying car to get to the top.
alexhasboomboom: Flying cars don't exist.
Jimmy5748432: I parachute down onto the building.
alexhasboomboom: It is so windy outside and you land on a near by car.
IamSOOOsmartdude: I get help from chuck norris and he throws me to the top.
alexhasboomboom: CORRECT! you are the new host!
That is the most basic way of playing the game. However, I will just make it a bit more complicated!
Rules---
1) Every turn, a player or person can only make one post!
2) Anyone can join! There is no character sheet!
3) You can do anything within the realm of your imagination! But the more overpowered the post, the more I will combat it with MY imagination!
4) When you make a post, there is a chance it can backfire on you and you will suffer "injuries", which means you can't post for a certain amount of posts I make!
5) If you annoy me or break the rules, you may suffer permanent death, which I will then ignore you for the rest of the game!
6) Players can also interact with other players, helping them or hurting them. Setting up shops to sell is optional as well!
7) There is no elevators or stairs in the building. Only floors.
8) The first person that gets to the top becomes the new host of the building, which he then should try his best to safeguard the building! Be responsible and fair with your power, however!

I use the pulley system to the 57th floor. I put Peter Venkman to fight off ellock and sonic. While he does that, I try to make a metal elevator to 65th floor.
Okay so I'm going to hire 5 more guards and give all of them weapons (since I am a weapon shop) and then I call the construction workers and tell them to help me build a little base on the 1st floor. (When I say base I mean like barricades, sandbags, and all that).
I send a clone of me up to distract the dragon and grapple my way to the 21st floor.

NEW EVENT ALERT! Termites have no longer infested the building! However, because of some termites damaged the architecture of the building, Engineers will now appear and fix any broken structures, such as holes in the ceilings or floors! This will last for 5 posts!

You continuously dodge the Phoenix's attacks with the help of your kunai. It's getting tired.

You will take 2 more turns in order to master your lightning spell. However, if anybody attacks you, it will disrupt your concentration and you will have to start over. Also, you can still move up floors while mastering your magic, as long as you don't build anything.

The metal dragon on 20. I send a tracking missile after karasaar. In the men time I find sucktion cups and climb up to the thirtieth floor.
You're inside the building and sendin a tracking missle after me? Interesting strategy.
If the missle should go after me despite several ceiling being inbetween, I will attempt to dodge it and if successful, immediatly continue my studies.
I forgot I wanted to say the missile will blow up the whole floor.
Getting into the building? Easy.
I walk up to Chuck and Bruce,whisper that the other said something nasty about their mother,and they get into a heated battle.With you still left,I summon an Elemental that poisons you for 23 damage each post,for a few posts.It then defends me,as I use Fus Ro Da to make it to the 12th floor.

You did not shoot the missile from the outside, so you simply destroy the whole ceiling. Also, you were on the 21st Floor, so you used your suction cups to get down to the 13th Floor. The engineers repaired the hole you made.

Bruce and Chuck both deal 5000 damage to each other until they realized they were being tricked. You summon an Elemental to poison me each turn, but since it is too busy poisoning me, it cannot defend you. You blow through the ceiling up to the 12th Floor, but I don't see how you can "Fus Ro Da" to propel yourself up. The engineers repair the holes you made.
Also, Chuck and Bruce team up to give you a 3 post injury due to tricking each other into fighting.
The defenders of the building are no longer 'Pissed Off'.
Gamerguy12345's Shop has opened! Feel free to purchase things from his shop, but you must be on the floor! Also, everybody can now randomly find "oil cans" when doing any action to use as currency for his shop!
Clancy is no longer injured and can now post again!
Let's see...I Think I'll go outside and keep on teleporting to basically never fall.
I'm going to wait until I get my secret shipment. While waiting I start putting up colorful signs advertising my shop. I put a sign on every floor from ground level to the 50th floor.
what ever. I do not want to win so I go down to the first floor and ask gamerguy if I could work at his shop.
