The year is 2209, a year of fleets and heroes, armies and cowards. In particular, 18 ships, 36,000 Marines, 12,000 Deltas, and 30,000 Rangers are being moved to flashpoint Trigger, in preparation for a massive assault on a rebel group, the Space Union Republic. The Terran Syndicate believes that their strange ships are coming from materials and technologies hidden within a giant anomaly just outside the outer asteroid belt.
As either a Marine, Ranger, or a Delta, it is your job to annihilate the rebels, or die trying.
But is the anomaly's connection to the rebellion really what it seems?

Marine
Name: Tyler McMillon

Bio: Tyler enlisted as soon as he was of age. He had always wanted to for 2 reasons. He dreamed of adventure and his great grand dad was a war hero. After an explosive prank gone awry, he lost officer candidacy, which he was un aware of, and placed into demolitions since it takes a natural to turn three dinners and some cleaning supplies into a bomb. Beeing the best at what he does (or so he says) hes calmed down quite a bit. He is still itching for his first engagement however. He is currently surving aboard the Dreadnaught: Regulus.

"We've got company, still got plenty of ammo though. Jenkins is coming around, and we've got eyes on your target. We can give you cover fire and close support in short order. What's your status?"

They have uplinks their helmet cam feeds, and your HUD triangulates the positions of the tango, displaying a red square representing its location.

Objective: Reach the exit door with your fire team.

Tyler attempts to shoot a few rounds around the tree, at his target with the SAW, in an attempt to force the bot to keep its distance, not actually expecting to score a hit since he his blind firing where he thinks he is. Over his comm he replies "I'm good but I am pinned down. Fan out and hit this Son'iva on both sides! Short controlled bursts and watch your crossfire. Regroup on me after tango is down."

"Copy that, moving out."
They move out of cover, splitting into two groups. After a few seconds, they are in position. Your HUD has plotted a course to the exit.

Objectives: Finish off the last bot, reach the exit with team intact.

"Open fire" is what he screams as he pulls off the tree and starts firing full auto at the bot's location. If successful and they regroup, they will head to the exit.

You elliminate the remaining bot in a matter of seconds. After you reach the exit, you are given a pass to the ship, and readied for transit. You can either be a part of the rapid response team, or wait in statis and not do any menial tasks.

Tyler opts for the rapid response team, prefering to be awake in the off chance of an emergency.

At this point you have a choice for the four-year trip: Train (+5 HP per year), or Study (+1 rank for every two years, -5 HP every year spent studying.)

Sorry, I was out of town for the better part of a day. Didn't see you post until recently.

You're in the level 15 gym, when the ship slows down dramatically, and an explosion wracks the hull of the entire ship. You're thrown across the gym, hitting the base of your skull. Alerts are blaring, and you're pages to the armory. There are two other Marines in the gym, one is unconscious and the other is trying to move weights out of the way of the door. Various weights and exercise machines are scattered across the room. There is a door leading to the hallway, and another to the mess. The hallway exit is blocked by weights.

Objective: Reach the armory safely.
Side objective: Help the crew.

The first thing McMillon does is head over to the wounded soldier and try to drag him to the wall next where the other soldier is removing weights. He then attempts to assist this soldier remove the weights and equipment from the door.
