Ok, in this thread you simply post whatever bands, songs, or playlists you've been listening to recently. I don't believe this is a duplicate thread but I'm sorry if it is. One rule though- don't be a music snob/ elitist. A bit of debate is fine, but don't bully anyone out of the thread. If we're all respectful and open-minded, this is a great way to share music and maybe try something new.
The past few days I've been listening to a few songs by Wintersleep: "Nothing is Anything (Without You)" , "Weighty Ghost", and "Laser Beams." Aside from those, I haven't had much of a craving for anything in particular in the past few days and I've been using shuffle on my iPod.
Aaaarrrggghhh... I really, really, REALLY want to go to the Graspop MetalFest this saturday!!! But... I already have an appointment which I simply can not cancel... ohhhwww...
@09philj Hmmm... I like the original better. Somehow the magic of the song is lost in this version...
@HahiHa One of their lesser known songs, but nice! And congratz on the quadruple-5 post count!
@Doombreed Well, I do listen to them frequently in fact... they come by every other 20 songs or so on my player! And therefor... especially for you... I'm going to listen to this!
KoЯn - Narcissistic Cannibal (Remastered version without dubstep and added grunt: "Euphorian Edit"
@MrDayCee That song is actually a cover, as I've just learned, but what's more it is sung by Ringo Starr. I honestly never gave much attention to who sings in the songs, which is why I was surprised to read that Ringo actually sang sometimes o.o
In that spirit, here's a more famous song with him as lead vocalist:
@HahiHa He did try to make it as a solo artist, but he was the only one who never made it fully out of the four Beatles... that said, I didn't know he sang lead in Yellow Submarine!!
In spirit of coming saturday... I'm listening to another artist from that day's lineup now!
Normally I don't listen to country music, but this one reminds me of those great southern nights despite the underlying fact that I've never been to the South.
I didn't know he sang lead in Yellow Submarine!!
Ringo was never a very good singer, so they only let him sing silly songs.
