- Don't use any attack other than quick shot. It cost less AP and does almost the same amount of damage as the others. You can defeat a ship but destroying it's sails but it seems to take just as many shots. Same for aiming at the crew. Aiming for the haul may do a little more damage, but it's not noticeable. Use quick shot only and possibly haul shot for the final boss.
Definitely use at least one hull shot for the boss in most situations if you can. Quick shot does less damage. In order of damage from 50 AP to 15:
50 = 1 H + 2 Q
45 = 2 H
40 = 2 H
35 = 1 H + 1 Q
30 = 2 Q
25 = 1 H
20 = 1 H
15 = 1 Q
2 Q does more damage than 1 H, but 3 Q does not outdamage 2 H.
It is possible to beat the game in less than 100 days
The best solution:
Equal strength of ships:
45AP 45AP

In 95 percent of cases,enemy ships will fire qs(15AP),only sometimes
but it is very rare they will use as(20AP).
The level of damage is 5APx3 per ship by using 3xqs
You shot first.
45AP 10AP (can not shoot anymore)

Now the enemy.

The second round. 1x15AP + 1x20AP

More space for cargo = more money
More money = more dynamite shots early in the game
More dynamite = more destroyed ships without any loss
*Attack only stronger ships in order to shot first
More destroyed ships = more war points
More war points = stronger ships
*Eventually you can replace the ships for the last battle.
But there is no real need for that.
i have 3 "ship of the line" fully upgraded and i have accuracy, damage, action points, and hull fully upgraded. why can't i defeat boss.

Fighting with the boss can be a little tricky.
Apparently the boos is using two tactics.
The first tactic: He will attack all ships equally.
Second tactic: He will concentrate all fire to one ship until its destroyed.
Sometimes,but it happens very rarely,he will combine both tactics.
Now, you will have the best chance to beat him if he is using the first tactic.
In addition, here's some tips:
Make sure that you are using the best possible ships.
Make sure that you have fully upgraded ships (weapons,sails,hull),
and also In-game upgrades (accuracy,damage,hull).
Important !!!
Use only the cannonballs with dynamitic charge.
Dynamitic charge will cost you 5k of gold for each shot,so be sure
that you have enough gold before entering into battle.
With all the upgrades you should have at least 50 AP* by ship.
(AP)- action points
Use the following tactics:
If the boss is using the first tactic.
Turn 1:
15 AP (quick shot) + 15 AP (quick shot) + 20 AP (aimed shot)
for the maximum effect.
20 AP (aimed shot) it is the best to aim hull.
Turn 2:
You will have 40-45 AP left on all ships!
In case you have 40 AP
Then use: 2x 20 AP (aimed shot)
In case you have 45 AP
Then use: 3x 15 AP (quick shot)
Basically, you always go for maximum exploitation of AP.
Turn 3:
Luck is implicated here,but should have 30-35 Ap left on all ships.
Basically, you are repeating the previous step.
In case you have 30 AP
Then use: 2x 15 AP (quick shot)
In case you have 35 AP
Then use: one 15 AP (quick shot) and one 20 AP (aimed shot).
