@bakkart: because this game has a local save AG cant do anything about here. The reason for your lost save is that you/your computer (could happen if settings set so, like "delete cookies when browser is shut down", etc/a program running on your computer (like CCleaner) delete cookies/save files.
Not too keen on having to replay all this again ....
But i am^^ Simply love this game, so i started a brand new one to get the quest^^
Didn't like this game at first, but it grew on me after the third stage. Quests aren't too bad, I'm only missing the two hard ones now, completing the game I don't think will take long, 20 stat upgrades not sure about though, may be a little grinding.
I do think the "Purchasing Power" quest is a lot easier than the "Damage Booster," though; got 20 upgrades easily by the end of the 4th stage. Don't have even half of any given weapon mastered.
All done now, 20 stats was actually easy as long as you spread em out so you're not spending everything on expensive upgrades. Rest of the game was just speedrunning it . For mastering a weapon you can just replay a stage and use the same weapon to get it, I mastered brass knuckles early in stage 2.
I got to the last level and still hadn't mastered a weapon. Guitar was my highest at that point so I went back to Level 3 a couple of times and got it there.
Quests for this game were expected. There was even a slight hint that these quests will be our new quests. Too bad I do not have time right now. I will deal with them later.
Not too bad, but after about level 5 or so it gets kind of repetitive. New enemies just have more HP, they aren't really any smarter. So it's just a matter of, 'wander around looking to figure out what object you need to take to point X to get treasure'.
The bosses were decent (if easy), but there were only 3 of them for 12 levels.
@Reton8 - Yes, but those achievements are still EASY.
They require no particular skill at the game, just a large investment of time.
I'm talking about actually DIFFICULT achievements - like This Is The Only Level 4, beating it in a strict time limit in under a certain amount of deaths, or Treadmillasaurus Rex reaching 50k calories. I actually feel pretty proud I got those, because they were tough to pull off!
The Shell Shock ones I slowly work towards when I'm bored - just because I want 100% achievements on the site. But they are some of the stupidest achievements out there. I absolutely hate any achievement that is just 'Get X number of kills' or 'lay for X hours'. They require no real skill, just huge time investments.
I do have to agree. It is fun when it's challenging instead of easy and time consuming. I don't mind a challenging quest that may take a around 10 hours or more of actual gameplay to complete (about a week or so of playing around 1 to 2 hours a day).
Problem with flash games is that they don't usually have enough variety in gameplay to maintain interest while having something that takes 30 hours of gameplay to complete. Like Shell SHock Live 2 and some of the in-game Papa's Freezeria badges it usually becomes a mundane grind.
So I'm not opposed to the challenge, but it can be hard to effectively and while retaining entertainment value.

I get what your saying, those quests are hard to do but don't take long to get, once you have the skill down. But even those quests are the ideal challenging quest as I feel there is some luck involved in both. Treadmillasaurs Rex you have the wheel randomly effecting gameplay. For The Only Level 4 the controls feel so broken on the swinginf (Indiana Jones) stage it feels more like like and less like skill to obtain that quest.
