They don't give you any powers after you unlock them, but if you get one in-game you get tons of points (even if u hav already gotten it!), so build tons of towers and gems and stuff anyway for glowing frame.
This game was after the game balloon invasion, same game creator. Balloon invasion has awards that game extra points. The amulets are like your awards and just give extra points, that is about it.
