This thread is a place to discuss quests for Bubble Tanks Tower Defense. Here is a list of the current quests available for this popular tower defense game...
Hang Tough Survive 20 waves in any Survival Mode. Hardness: Easy
Starting Point Beat 3 levels on any difficulty. Hardness: Easy
Stingy Beat any level with at least 500 bubbles left unused. Hardness: Medium
Ride It Out Beat any level with the FML modifier selected. Hardness: Medium
Step Up Build a Mega Tower. Hardness: Medium
Terminus Beat all levels. Hardness: Hard
Weather The Storm Survive 50 waves in any Survival Mode. Hardness: Hard
The "Weather the Storm"-Quest (Survive 50 Waves in any survival mode) is by far the easiest "hard" quest on armorgames so far. Even surviving more then 500 Waves is no Problem. After Wave ~130 when I finished my second Mega-Mega-Tower, I called in around 400 waves by insanly clicking the rightmost wave-button and not even a single Creep came more then a few milimeteres onto the screen. I had to "lose" the game by selling my towers. The "Terminus" one takes a lot of time, yes. But remeber: When kongregate put Badges on this game some years ago, they made one with "Beat all the levels ON PERFECT. ^^
All I can say is I'm VERY glad that they didn't make it 'beat every level with a perfect win'.
The poor target priority AI, especially with regards to ghosts makes a couple levels nearly impossible to beat with a perfect win.
If a tower will kill a ghost in exactly 2 shots - it takes ONE shot, then drops targeting for an extended period of time, then takes then 2nd shot.
Unless you have a mega or sniper tower, that means the ghost has gone halfway across the level. If it does it on level 41, 44 or 45, guess what a ghost just cost you the perfect win.
A couple other times I've been cost perfect wins by again, poor targeting AI.
It is extremely apparent with towers with long ranges - it almost looks like they just pick out a totally random enemy on the board to shoot at half the time, they certainly aren't shooting at the target closest to the goal.
Anyone else have a problem with unlocking the first one where you need to complete 3 levels? =)
The tutorial levels and survival levels don't count toward the quest. But if you have beaten more than 3 non-tutorial and non-survival levels, then I don't know.
If all you care about are quests, there's en easy way to complete every level. Since we're playing on armor games, you get the extra content, that means you can select Mega Cheat in the bottom right for unlimited spending bubbles . Turns a hard quest into an easy one that is still time consuming (But not as much), also the mega cheat doesn't help much for level 40...not being able to upgrade on that level basically forces you to redirect the enemies on the harder waves.
Yay.. more tower defense achievements. Feel like giving up on completing all quests (so close...) because the only new quests we are getting are TD.. which is the ones I hate the most. Same thing every time, just different graphics and towers.
This one isn't much different either.
I used the Mega Cheat to get half of the achievements very easily but I have no yet unlocked "Complete 3 levels". Does this achievement not unlock if the levels are completed with cheat mode?
Tristurbed -- I think your memory is focused on only the last TWO quests; I just checked through all the quests in the past few months and there's a lot of variety. Something for everyone to love or hate. Personally, I'll take a TD over a game like Road of the Dead any day.
Does this achievement not unlock if the levels are completed with cheat mode?
I'm wondering the same thing. I have the "beat three levels" quest, but I haven't gotten the beat 20 levels quest. I have beaten 20 levels, but most of them with the cheat.
A confirmation on how the cheat affects the quests would be nice.
I got the "Endure" Quest after beating 21 levels. And, yes, some of them with cheats.
As for the "Beat 3 levels", it should unlock even if you use cheats, but I'm just guessing. I got that quest without the cheat option enabled, so I can't be completely sure. However, you can always reset your game data (or play the game using another browser) and try not to use cheats. See if it works
I didn't use the cheat for like the first 5 levels I did, after that I used the cheat for every single level and got both Endure and Terminus, so I don't think the cheat will affect anything as far as quests go.
