I get bored at work, so I do 5 minute doodles. Hopefully the boredom doesn't die out, and hopefully the links work.

Thank you for your kind words. I use a regular 2B pencil (really hard, since I don't have darker shades), and my finger/edge of the tissue to shade. If they don't appear dark enough due to the scanner, I might use Photoshop, and duplicate the layers, but that's about it.
Another fast one. Pity she's too thin....
In the first full page one, her eyes are a bit too far apart. The mouth should be a little more defined and lower to the chin, in my opinion. And her hands are a bit bulky. In this one on page 4, you already know she's too thin, but also her eyes are just a wee bit too far apart. They are still great, though. I look forward to seeing more, soon~
Struggling to get the shading right, will be focused more on shading for the period.
Wow Nicho that's amazing... I wish I had any remote drawing skill...
Practicing different hair styles, with the same face (insofar as what reality and my limited ability dictates ^^). Experimenting with looks.
Just abit of cleavage~~
Trying hard to improve.
4 inches tall on my sketching paper. Isn't she adorable?
I just met someone with incredible talent!
Nich youre great drawing animes characters someday maybe you will creat an epic anime
Isn't she adorable?
S-So kawaii desu moshi moshi ;_;
By the way, do you use any references when you draw these girls?
Thank you guys.
I use pictures I find everywhere still using them heavily but I'm slowly doing freehand such as the shading
I love the positions they're in.
This one's my first really really free hand drawing chibi, I based it on someone I know. I'm not happy with the hair one bit, except that little bit of light shining on her hair on top....then again it needs to be tapered. I'm not happy with the shading as well, but hey, practicing is learning. ^^
OOH Nice for your first free hand chibi =3
If I may give some tips from my own observing of chibis, you should make the head a bit bigger, almost 'bobblehead' like, and the neck should be less exposed, almost nonexistent.
There is also a considerable thigh gap and the torso is a bit more squarish in chibi form, and sometimes there is a slight indication from the feet by having a bit of a point jutting out in a stubby way (although this is up to personal preference).
All in all, I really like it, and you're improving really rapidly. =3
