Hey AG community,

Just wanted to let any of you that are interested know that GOG (Good Old Games) is having a Fallout sale. Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics are free until Friday night.

If you're a fan of any sort of RPG, it'd be worth your while to give these games a try. If anyone is interested, I'll post a few links to restoration mods and bug fixes.

GOG is 100% legit, and their games are DRM free, if that is a concern for anyone.

Happy Gaming

Yeah, I heard about this. Sadly! I had already bought the entire series -ages- ago, and from GOG none the less.

I'm also advising that people go check it out and pick it up. Even if you don't think you are going to play it now. Why? Because there is going to be a point in your life when you go "You know what? It's taking too long for the next Fallout game to come out. I really want to see where the series came from."

It will happen, trust me.

I've always regretted never playing any of the Fallout games. Thanks so much for this - I'm installing now!

Fallout Tactics Mods/Patches:

Links above are unofficial patches to make the games run smoother, support higher resolutions, and fix various bugs.

Reminder, the sale ends soon as GOG will probably lose the rights to Fallout, barring a deal with Bethesda, before the year ends. As long as you have the game downloaded/in your GOG collection before then, you'll be fine

I grabbed the deal, going to play when on better computer.

Especially interested in the first two, given that they are supposed to be -the- games of the series.

Yeah, they really are. There was going to be a third in the series (Tactics doesn't count as part of the Fallout series) called 'Van Buren' that was nearly finished. Yet when Bethesda bought the franchise, they trashed the entire project. And what did we get instead? Fallout 3. *sighs*
