3. You'll get one 'get out of jail free' card, which is an unofficial thing where I'll get you out of the first situation where'd you'd otherwise die, be crippled permanently, or be imprisoned for life.

You are a settler of a new world, sent on one of the best ships ever constructed to settle the newly discovered lands. Whether you'll be a missionary, leader, soldier is up to you.

The old world, where you are from, is essentially the same as Europe in 1500's except that there is a small amount of magic. There are the occasional wizards and enchanted items and a couple types of monsters. You can be from Spain, England, France, or Portugal. However, instead of landing in North or South America, you'll be landing in a mysterious high-fantasy continent of which little is known.

Painter: A painter coming to the New World seeking inspiration. +10 to creativity, paints, canvas, and brush.

Rich Guy: A rich guy coming to the new world. +200 gold.

Mage: A magician exploring magic in the New World. +5 to magic and mana. Oak staff.

Gambler: Deep in debt, seeking to escape debts in the New World. +20 luck, -50 gold.
