Hey Ferret! I recently came out as a two-spirit otherkin (I identify as a mix of Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony and Pudge from DotA 2), and I think I now have the courage to vocally express my discontent over the lack of gender options AG has. Currently, AG uses a limited gender binary system, forcing its users to choose between male or female. I feel this is slightly oppressive and unfair to those who do not identify as one of these two genders. As you may know, Facebook recently added over 50 new gender options for its users to choose from. I believe AG and its community would benefit tremendously, in quantity and quality, if we were to follow Facebook's model.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this matter.
As a fellow two-spirit otherkin of Gimli and the dog from that rootbeer can, these 50+ gender options are too ambiguous to be necessary. Then there's otherkin, which is just plain silly on a mental note. There could be a couple in there of worth, but over 50?

Well, it would be very hilarious. I really don't see the use and how these do actually matter but they would rock for entertainment. Plus, it's the little details that make a thing awesome!

You are physically a non-human combination of a pink cartoon pony and a gigantic bloodthirsty MOBA tank class? I suspect that you will tell me that otherkin is a spiritual state, in which case, you are still physically either male or female.

They are necessary! My MTF friends are constantly disgusted by others mistaking them for male-to-female!
Oh-My-God... This stuff is currently wrecking the Dutch progressive/radical scene/"movement" whatever one might wish to call it, apparently spilled over from the German scene.
